Questions daycares ask me
Which course does my childcare program need?
The CPR AED option includes the applicable child and infant content. The Pediatric First Aid CPR AED option adds the full pediatric first aid component. Requirements vary, so confirm the exact course with your employer or agency before booking.
Does this cover infant and child CPR, or just adults?
The childcare options include the applicable infant and child CPR skills plus AED practice. Choose the $189 Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED course when your requirement also includes pediatric first aid.
Can you train my whole daycare staff at our center?
Yes. I come to your center and train the team together on a schedule that works for your program. Official AHA cards are issued to participants after successful completion of the applicable card course.
How long is the class, and when are cards issued?
Course length depends on the course option, group size, and required practice. Official AHA cards are issued after successful completion; no card-processing time is promised before booking.
What's the difference between the $139 and $189 option?
The $139 option is Heartsaver CPR AED with applicable child and infant content. The $189 option is Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED and includes the full pediatric first aid component in addition to CPR and AED skills.
