Adult & Teen Hands-Only CPR
When an adult suddenly collapses and isn't breathing normally.

Check, then call 911
Tap their shoulder and shout. No response and no normal breathing? Call 911 now — or point at one person: "You, call 911." Put the phone on speaker so your hands stay free.
Push hard and fast
Heel of your hand in the center of the chest, your other hand on top. Push 100–120 times a minute, about 2 inches deep, and let the chest come all the way back up each time.
Don't stop
Keep compressing while another rescuer readies the AED. Pause only when the AED tells you to. Continue until the person shows signs of life, trained responders take over, or the AED or dispatcher tells you to pause or stop.
Act quickly: call 911, put the phone on speaker, and start chest compressions now. Follow the dispatcher and AED prompts.
